SMART Goal (Part two!!!)

Hi! I’m back!

Remember back in September when I set a SMART goal?

Well… I’m back for part two!

I was exhausted when I wrote that post so I’m sorry if it wasn’t clear that my academic goal is Algebra.

Yay.

  1. How much progress have you made towards your goal?

I now completely understand what I must do and am working on the part where I work with help on the study sheets that Ms. Cleavland is providing.

2.  Are you on track to reach your goal?

Yup! I’m on track to reach my goal because I am doing algebra in class.

3.  How can I improve my goal strategy?

Ummmmm.

At this moment I have probably only advanced because my math Unit is algebra. So the whole class is learning this.

I get worksheets and lessons along with everybody else. To improve I could ask for extra work. (If needed!) But I was already given a big booklet to study for the algebra quiz.

Idea: I can study for the in-class quiz with Ms Cleavland and regroup after that.

If I get 80% or higher I have completed my goal.

If I get lower than that I will continue to ask Ms Cleavland for extra worksheets up until we take an algebra test.

Thanks for reading!

Bye!

SMART goals

I want to improve in algebra. I will know that my goal has been completed when I am confident doing algebra and can answer most (or all) questions correctly. My goal is important because algebra is important in math and algebra can be used for other things in life too. I can get help from Ms. Cleveland, my parents, and the math blog to complete this goal. I would like to complete this goal by the end of the year, but the steps will be broken down into parts. For example, I’ll have a week or two to understand. Then From November to December practice with help. Then so on with no help. Once I fully comprehend, I will try to do what I said before; and answer all or most questions correctly in a worksheet created by a parent or teacher.

I want to be able to organize my time, my agenda, and my room. I know I have successfully completed this goal when all my things are reorganized, and I can do better. I will need to write in my agenda and make a routine to organize my space.

Bottle Cap

Do you know how many bottles get thrown away each year? millions of millions of millions. Well I  gave a bottle cap a new life, I made it into a bubble container.

So now when you’re done with your Coca Cola you don’t throw it away because now you can use it again.

Once you’re done with your coke, you fill it up with water and soap, and you’ve got a whole other product. (If you’ve got any smelly soap you should use it, it’ll give it a nice smell and then it’s three in one). You can keep on reusing over and over again and it will  help with pollution because you never throw it away. Now you can reuse it. And it’s really fun to use!

Do you want colorful bubbles?Well this bottle comes with coloring inc! so you add the coloring inc, as much as you want to the bubble container, and then when you mix it the water gets colored!  and you add soap and you get colorful bubbles so when you blow a bubble it is tinted the color that you chose.

This is a double use bottle, maybe even a triple use. As you can see now, this bottle has many uses you can drink out of and blow a bubble out. Imagine drinking your coke and then bringing your coke bottle home. You empty it and fill it with water and soap ,and then it’s reusable!

Now it’s easy to say why you should buy this bottle. It has so many uses it is even recyclable and helps stop pollution. You can even make colorful bubbles. You can buy this for a very cheap price. Have fun!

Mon Dimanche Typique

The big bad buffalo

This is my paragraph on the big bad buffalo…

In the wild west, you know they are coming by the sound of their boots. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, I’m talking about THE BIG BAD BUFFALOS. The whole town  knows about their cruelty & love for loot. Know if you mess with one of them you mess with all of them, because they never, I MEAN Never, go out alone. You normally see them on wanted signs with their incredible cowboy hats & leather jackets. They carry many weapons like guns & knives but the deadliest of them all  are their razor boots. There is an origin  story of their razor boots. The leader of the gang, Taurus, was tied to a chair by the sheriff. The sheriff thought he had finally caught the leader of the gang so he went out to fetch a beer… and then Taurus escaped  by using his razor boots to cut the ropes, charged through the door and returned to his herd. So,if you ever see them, you better RUN  because if you don’t, you’ll become buffalo wings.

Hope you liked my story!

Bye!

Bar/Bat mitzvah

Hi!

In our Jewish studies classes we learned about bar/bat mitzvah.

When you reach the age of bar/bat mitzvah many things change in your life, like you are now responsible for your actions, like if you break a law you are responsible not your parents like before. You also become an adult so now you are not to talk bad about anybody or take revenge. Boys when they reach the age of bar mitzvah must use a tefillin and a tallit. a tefillin is made to signal that you believe in God with your mind and your heart. A tallit has fringes that reminded us about all the commandments so we can remember to preform all the commandments. The fringes have this special blue dye that I found interesting because before they used to believe that the sea snail that made this dye only every 70 years.

I hope you found that interesting here are some photos…
